Cody Regional Health Hosts Meet and Greet Event with General Surgeon Dr. Rebecca Deal, MD

Cody Regional Health (CRH) is delighted to invite the community to a special Meet and Greet event with Dr. Rebecca "Becca" Deal, MD, esteemed general surgeon, on Thursdsay, May 15, 2024, at 4:00 PM. The event will also include an exclusive tour of CRH's new General Surgery Clinic located at 424 Yellowstone Ave., Suite 250, Cody, WY 82414.

Dr. Becca Deal brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to Cody Regional Health. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 2009, Dr. Deal continued her medical education at Rush University in Chicago, where she completed her medical degree from 2009 to 2013. She then pursued her residency in general surgery at Rush and Cook County Hospital, receiving comprehensive training and honing her surgical skills.

Initially drawn to the field of medicine with aspirations of becoming a pediatrician or family medicine doctor, Dr. Deal's path took an unexpected turn during her third year of medical school. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for surgery. Driven by the profound impact of being able to directly cure patients through surgical intervention, she found fulfillment in the ability to alleviate suffering and restore health with her skill set.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Deal embraces an active lifestyle. A lover of the great outdoors, she enjoys skiing, trail running, hiking, and snowshoeing. Always eager to explore new interests, Dr. Deal is also venturing into the world of knitting, demonstrating her adventurous spirit and commitment to lifelong learning.

The Meet and Greet event offers an opportunity for community members to meet Dr. Deal, learn more about her background and expertise, and tour the new General Surgery Clinic. Light refreshments will be provided.
