About Becky
Becky Poucher is a Provisionally Licensed Social Worker and Counselor at Cody Regional Health’s Cedar Mountain Center. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Social Work at Eastern Michigan University in 2021 and went on to earn her Master of Social Work from Wayne State University in 2022.
Before joining Cody Regional Health, Becky gained valuable experience in case management and social work at EHM Senior Solutions. During her time there, she served as an intermittent social worker and Certified Nursing Assistant for six years, providing compassionate care and crisis intervention to elderly patients with physical and mental illnesses. In her academic career, Becky completed internships at the Home of New Vision, focusing on co-occurring addictions and mental health, and at the Safehouse Center, where she supported individuals affected by domestic abuse and sexual assault.
Since joining Cody Regional Health in 2022, Becky has been an integral part of the residential treatment team at Cedar Mountain Center. She specializes in working with severe and persistent mental illnesses, substance use disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Becky is trained in trauma-informed care and has received advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, equipping her to provide comprehensive and empathetic care to her clients.
