At Cody Regional Health, we understand that caring for your mental well-being is just as important as taking care of your physical health. We offer mental health services for patients of all ages, from young children and adolescents, as well as adults and seniors.

What We Treat

Some of the mental health conditions we treat include:

  • Mood disorders: Major depressive disorder (MDD), bipolar disorders, and others
  • Anxiety disorders: General anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and phobias
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Eating disorders, such as anorexia and bulimia
  • Psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia
  • Personality disorders, such as borderline personality disorder (BPD)
  • Cognitive conditions, such as dementia
  • Co-occurring conditions, such as one of the above-mentioned mental illnesses that occur with substance abuse

How We Can Help

Our mental health staff includes counselors and psychiatrists. The difference between these two professions is that psychotherapists do “talk therapy,” whereas psychiatrists prescribe medication. Common psychotropic drugs include antidepressants, mood stabilizers, anti-anxiety medication, and many others. Our board-certified psychiatrists are highly skilled, compassionate healthcare providers who are of the firm mindset that mental health is just as important as physical health. Our psychotherapists are mental health professionals who do talk therapy and discuss your concerns, problems, and mental health problems with you in private, 100% confidential sessions.

To schedule an appointment with a psychiatrist, please call 307.578.2283.
