Cody Regional Health is proud to partner with Dialysis Clinic Inc. (DCI) to offer a more compassionate, personalized approach to kidney care and dialysis services. Dialysis is an essential treatment for patients with end-stage renal failure, one they may require for the rest of their lives. We strive to make this treatment as convenient and comfortable for the patient as possible. We take the time to learn more about them as people so we can better address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
A Team Approach to Patient Care
Every member of the Dialysis team performs a specific role in the patient’s plan of care. Dialysis can be an adjustment for many people, so we speak with patients to better understand their experience during treatment and address matters of concern. Patients and staff work together to create treatment goals and build a personalized dialysis care routine.
Financial Assistance
Dialysis is a continuing expense for many patients, and we are committed to providing this vital treatment to all who need it. Our social works direct patients to community resources that can provide them with financial relief for their dialysis. We also help patients maintain their insurance plans. In the event a patient does not have insurance, we seek out a DCI clinic that can support them.
Planning Your Long-Term Care
For end-stage renal failure patients, the next phase of treatment is an important decision. We help the patient understand how long dialysis will serve as an effective treatment for them and whether or not a kidney transplant should be considered. DCI is closely affiliated with DCI Donor Services, Inc., providing our patients with a convenient resource for transplantation while they receive their dialysis care.
